Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid and unrestricted Medical License in Texas
• Active DEA and Texas Medical Board registration
• Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecologic cases
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital setting

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with expedited privileges
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience
• Previous experience working in hospital-based obstetrics

Other Requirements:

• Availability for weekend shifts and flexibility to work additional hours if needed
• Willingness to complete hospital credentialing and compliance procedures
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date licenses and certifications
• Must meet hospital credentialing requirements, including expedited privileges if applicable
• No travel restrictions; must adhere to hospital policies and protocols
