This is a full-time, on-site Tax Manager position based in Rockwall, TX. The Tax Manager will oversee complex tax engagements, provide strategic tax advisory services, supervise staff, and ensure the firm delivers high-quality results to our domestic and international clients. You will serve as a key leader in the firm, guiding the tax team, strengthening client relationships, and driving technical excellence.

WhatYou’ll Do
As a Tax Manager, you will lead complex engagements across multiple entity types and industries.
Technical & Advisory Responsibilities- Review complex federal and state individual, corporate, partnership, S-Corp, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Provide advanced tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals, international clients, and closely held businesses.
- Lead research on sophisticated domestic and international tax issues, delivering practical guidance.
- Oversee tax compliance for multi-state, foreign reporting, and cross-border transactions.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and strategic planning.
- Manage, mentor, and develop Tax Associates, Senior Associates, and team members.
- Oversee engagement workflows to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution.
- Assist with training initiatives and process improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly with clients.
- Participate in business development and advisory opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and international tax principles.
- Proven experience reviewing complex returns and managing engagements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
