Join the Texas Health Resources team as an ultrasonographer in the Women’s Health Specialists Clinic in Rockwall, TX.
Work location:
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p
- Women’s Health Specialists of Dallas is a seasoned Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) group proudly serving women of all ages for the past 40 years.

- Associate Degree Ultrasound Technology Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program (required) or ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers Upon Hire (required)
- 2 years related experience (required)
- OB/GYN experience (strongly preferred)
- Be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within field.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- Must have experience doing gynecological and obstetrical sonograms to include the following:
- Normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy
- Fetal anatomy and biophysical profile
- Fetal anomalies, including ectopic pregnancies
- Appropriate measurement techniques in transabdominal and endovaginal scanning
- Ability to identify what is expected to be seen in all three trimesters of pregnancy
- Must be comfortable verbally explaining all techniques and views to physician and patient.
- Deliver care to patients utilizing the Ultrasonographer Process.
- Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological and anatomical data.
- Prepare room for examination, greet patients, and educate patients on procedural information as needed.
- May schedule and coordinate tests.
- Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Properly record test results.
- Operate, care for, and maintain equipment.
- Prepare and maintain operational logs and document malfunctions as needed.
- Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards.
- Stock and order supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
