Work hoursFull‑time, 40 hours weekly;
Monday thru Friday (8am‑5pm); rotating Saturdays (9am‑12pm, approximately every 10 weeks).

- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (Preferred)
- CMA – Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred)
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (Preferred)
- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
- Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, current medications, and presenting problem.
- Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
- Draw and collect blood samples from patients, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, and perform routine tests such as EKGs.
- Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follow up to ensure completion of testing.
- Document patient plan(s) of care, tests, and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider.
- Communicate with patients regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by the provider.
- Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and dispose of contaminated items according to protocol. Keep patient exam rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
- Escalate non‑routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s).
- Ensure safety checklists/quality controls are completed as required.
- Protect patient privacy rights and ensure patient safety.
- May work in the front office as needed and perform other duties as assigned by practice manager or senior staff.
