As a Technician, you will support pharmacy teams, provide exceptional patient experiences, and uphold safety and compliance standards. Your duties include running pharmacy operations, ensuring prompt and accurate prescription fulfillment, delivering empathetic patient interactions, and maintaining strict adherence to SOPs.

• Follow company SOPs at each pharmacy workstation.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, and drop‑off.
• Provide empathetic patient interactions, including immunization and service offerings.
• Complete inventory activities such as returns‑to‑stocks, cycle counts, and waiting‑bin inventories.
• Collaborate with team members, embrace a growth mindset, and accept feedback.
• Be flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to stores.
• Comply with federal, state, local laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional patient health care services (immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, optional off‑site clinics) where permitted.
• Support immunization responsibilities: obtain licensure, educate patients, monitor adverse reactions, document vaccine supplies.

• Comply with all state board of pharmacy requirements.
• Minimum 16 years of age (or state requirement).
• High‑school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment.
• State‑level licensure and national certification per state requirements (see link).
• Comprehensive pharmaceutical knowledge and training compliance.

• Reliable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Timely completion of required training.
• Concentration on tasks and adaptability to new tasks.
• Customer service orientation: proactive assistance, friendly communication, empathy.
• Effective verbal and written communication and active listening.
• Mathematical reasoning for prescription calculations.
• Problem resolution skills.
• Physical demands: standing, lifting, reaching, repetitive finger movements, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Other tasks as directed.

• 1–3 years experience as Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in retail, medical, or customer service settings.
• Willingness to work in home store and across the market.

Hours:

29 hours per week (part‑time). Pay range: $16.50–$25.00 hourly, base salary depending on experience, education, and geography.
