• RT (R), (CT), (ARRT) and BLS certifications, and state licensure where necessary
• Must have the ability to function as both a CT Technologist and X‑Ray Technologist – performing examinations of patients of all ages
• Responsibility for coordinating and completing daily procedures, including prioritizing the sequence of operations, completing the exam, and following through with all necessary paperwork with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment
• Demonstrates competency in PACS process and performs daily QA process
• Effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills required
• Functions proficiently with all technical equipment in diagnostic modalities
• Properly uses radiation protection and shielding material to ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check

• Perform CT examinations and procedures that require the use of contrast agents
• Manage patients during complex procedure exams
• Use the portable X‑Ray machine and other X‑Ray equipment
• Solve minor equipment problems for both X‑Ray and CT
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization
• Scan in and label documents appropriately and ensure images are released to radiologists promptly
• Follow all radiation protection and dose reporting policies and processes
• Assist other technologists when necessary to maintain productivity
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast, if applicable

• Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patient lifting, positioning aids, portable ultrasound machines, and assisting with minor patient movements. Requires physical flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust equipment or patients as needed
• Requires prolonged standing or walking while performing scans, moving between patients, and positioning equipment. Physical endurance is essential to complete multiple consecutive scans
