Registered Respiratory Therapist – Full Time – Nights

Work hours:

Full Time;
Nights. 5:30 pm–6:00 am with rotating weekends.

• Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from the patient or family.
• Evaluate each patient using age and diagnosis‑appropriate assessment tests and measurements.
• Apply appropriate patient care interventions according to protocol guidelines and priority of care.
• Demonstrate competence in the performance of age‑appropriate patient assessment and individualize care based on age‑specific needs.
• Use therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to the patient’s age and desire for treatment.
• Perform treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license.

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Respiratory Care Program.
• RCP – Respiratory Care Practitioner and RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire.
• CLIAFEE compliance regarding foreign education equivalency.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) prior to providing independent patient care; maintained quarterly.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ICU and Emergency Department only: 90‑day requirement.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP): required if working in the NICU; 90‑day requirement.
• Good verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and computer experience.
