* About the Role:

** This position offers a higher level of clinical care than typically found in post-acute or residential settings. Our facility delivers hospital-level services that are comparable to those provided on a medical-surgical unit. Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team is equipped to manage a wide range of complex medical needs, including intravenous therapy, surgical and wound care, tracheostomy management, mobility assistance, and the comprehensive oversight of lines, tubes, and drains.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a healing environment focused on optimal recovery.
** Position Highlights at a Glance:*
* * Average Patient Length of Stay: 10–14 days

* Conditions:

Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and more
* Team Approach:
Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more
* Advanced Care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains
* 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)

* What You’ll Need:

*
* * RN License (State of TX)
* CPR required | ACLS & BLS preferred
* 1+ year of RN experience preferred (Acute care a plus)
* CRRN preferred

** Physical Requirements Over the Course of a

Shift:
*** A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
* Both gross and precise motor functions.
* Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
* Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
* Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
* Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
* Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
* Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
