Fabricator, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

As a Fabricator at Lime Media, you will play a crucial role in executing and overseeing various fabrication projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Woodworking:
  Proficient in rough and finish carpentry, cabinet making, and other woodworking techniques.
• Metal Working:
  Welding techniques such as MIG and TIG. Sheet metal fabrication preferred.
• Electrical and HVAC Systems:
  Design and installation of electrical and HVAC systems as needed for fabrication projects.
• Generator Maintenance:
  Perform mechanical diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gas/diesel generators.
• High-Level Finishing:
  Ensure all fabricated materials meet the highest standards of finishing.
• Drawing Interpretation:
  Read and interpret simple/basic diagrams and schematics to guide project completion using best practices.
• Project Implementation:
  Collaborate with shop management to implement project plans and meet daily milestones for completion.
• Quality Assurance:
  Conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure the final product meets the highest standards.
• Workspace Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and toolbox to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Adaptability:
  Be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned to support the team and company goals.

  Previous experience in specialty fabrication is required; provide evidence through photos of past hands-on specialty projects you've built.

Requirements

• Forklift certified.
• Proven experience in woodworking, electrical, HVAC, and generator maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.
• Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous specialty fabrication experience with a portfolio of past projects.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy materials greater than 50 pounds and work in various positions, including standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment

• Fabrication shop, which may include exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
