Assistant Recreation Manager TRD Certification Required

• Manages Recreation staff and ensures activities are being done on a daily basis.
• Reviews all activity calendars for completeness and ensures a variety of activities are planned.
• Actively participates, organizes, and monitors activities and events every week.
• Responsible for providing training and development to all Recreation staff such as how to encouraging participation, event planning, and initiating events.
• Plans and manages a comprehensive facility wide therapeutic recreation program.

• Must have experience running, developing/planning and implementing therapeutic programs, activities and events for seniors or physically/ mentally challenged adults in a clinical setting.
• Possess a Therapeutic Recreation Director certificate of completion
• Must be able to run, develop/plan and implement multiple events and programs and work with all disciplines in a challenging multi-cultural environment that target specific behavioral and/or patient groups as needed.
• Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, required
