Title: Laboratory Technician – Adhesives & Materials

Position Type: 1 year contract assignment with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Job Location: Rocky Hill, CT

Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: $22/HR

The candidate will perform laboratory and production support functions with a high level of initiative and independence, including:

• Dispensing adhesives and bonding components according to established procedures
• Testing bond strength and physical properties; evaluating, collecting, and recording data
• Organizing and conducting experiments using established methods
• Summarizing and reporting results accurately in laboratory notebooks
• Entering and analyzing data using computer software, including preparation of charts and tables to communicate project results
• Operating laboratory equipment and measurement devices safely and effectively
• Following laboratory safety protocols and best practices when working with chemicals and equipment, with guidance as needed
• Adhering to quality protocols in accordance with SOPs and ISO 17025:2017 requirements, with guidance as needed
• Standing for extended periods during laboratory work and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Fast learner with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and note-taking skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with repetitive hand movements and a strong safety mindset
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and technical report writing
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and basic project management skills
• Experience handling adhesives and other laboratory chemicals preferred
