WhatYou Will Do
- Under supervision of a licensed technician, learn to install, service and troubleshoot various alarm systems, access control systems, fire systems, video surveillance systems and programming of systems.
- Learn and become proficient in the installation of wireless systems.
- Follow Alarm New England and FSU Field Service Unit standards.
- Develop and apply your knowledge of IP & Networking. Attend and complete training programs as required.
- Provide excellent customer service while supporting our customers through effectively servicing and installing the functionality of their systems.
- Maintain truck inventory and have knowledge and understanding of all parts, part numbers and descriptions.
- Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean, orderly and professional vehicle at all times.
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner. Report any unsafe conditions to your manager. Use all assigned PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Perform other assigned duties as may be required from time to time.
- Apply for the CT and MA apprenticeship program:
We will coordinate your apprenticeship registration with each state. The goal is that you complete your apprenticeship and successfully become a licensed technician in both states for Low Voltage. As necessary, obtain other job/product related applicable licenses and certifications.
