Radiologist - Breast Imaging - Per Diem - UNC Nash Hospital

OFF EVERY 3RD WEEK - Breast Imaging Radiologist needed at UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC

UNC Health is currently seeking full-time Interventional Radiologists to work at UNC Health - Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC - only 1 hour from Raleigh and the Triangle area.

This position will be a dedicated Diagnostic Breast Imaging Specialist and should be fellowship trained or have extensive experience in breast imaging. The specialist will focus on the interpretation of breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as perform image‑guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations.

• We are recruiting for multiple radiologists to join the team at UNC Health Nash, including Interventional Radiologists, Diagnostic/Procedural Radiologists & Breast Imaging Radiologists.
• Will perform procedures in the radiology department, as well as outpatient work.

• Alternate Every-Other-Week in Each of the following Roles:
• Primary Breast reader:
  Screening, Diagnostic Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Breast MRI, breast needle‑guided breast biopsies
• Secondary Breast Reader: 2 days read screening mammography + 3 remote days reading general radiology (X‑ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound)
• ** Off every 3rd week! **
