Job Overview
Join us as a Counselor - Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) at Rocky Mount Treatment Center, a private outpatient clinic providing methadone and buprenorphine maintenance for individuals with opioid addiction. The center offers a therapeutic environment, with certified counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician on staff.
Hours of OperationMonday‑Friday: 5:30 am – 1:00 pm (weekends as needed).
Responsibilities and Duties- Assessments
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Case management
- Intakes
- Drug education
- Referral to community services
- Co‑ordination of care
- Family counseling and education
- Documentation of therapy sessions / chart filing
- CADC‑I or CADC license required
- Registered with North Carolina Substance Abuse Practice Board, in good standing
- Experience in substance abuse field highly desired
