SummaryThe Phlebotomist II performs venous and capillary collection of blood specimens for analysis. May perform EKGs, waived and moderately complex testing with supervision. May perform pre-employment drugs of abuse screens, performs various other support services for the laboratory as assigned, monitors incomplete work lists on LIS throughout shift, may perform assay for ABG’s and COOX samples with appropriate supervision. The Phlebotomist II will have a certification in a phlebotomy registry.
Responsibilities- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved training program in Phlebotomy.
- Registered as a Phlebotomist through ASCP or ASPT.
