This is a hands‑on leadership role with a focus on people, process, and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll lead the HR function onsite and serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership. This includes owning the full employee lifecycle — hiring, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, engagement, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide managers through employee relations issues and ensure consistent application of company policies
- Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts to build a strong, stable workforce
- Support training initiatives and help leaders develop their teams
- Oversee benefits, leave management, and workplace accommodations
- Handle investigations, corrective action, and disciplinary matters professionally and discreetly
- Monitor compliance with employment laws and workplace safety standards
- Promote employee morale through thoughtful engagement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Strong judgment and communication skills across all levels of the business
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (Oracle is a plus)
- HR designation or certification is a bonus
