Nurse Practitioner Position in Rocky Mount, NC

Unified Women's Healthcare of the Carolinas seeks a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for its prestigious Women’s Health Care Center in Rocky Mount, NC. This role offers a patient‑centred, team‑based practice with a focus on individualized care.

• Established practice serving Rocky Mount for over 50 years.
• State‑of‑the‑art office conveniently located near UNC Health Nash Hospital.
• Team: 5 OB/GYN physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 1 Nurse Practitioner, plus supportive admin staff.
• Responsibilities include patient exams, charting, follow‑up calls, phone triage, patient education, electronic prescription dispatch, and medication administration.
• 4.5 days/week; no nights, weekends, on‑call, or hospital shifts.
• Patient census: up to 22–24 per day.
• Primarily gynecologic care with obstetric patient encounters and performing or assisting with office‑based procedures such as endometrial biopsies and ultrasound‑guided IUD insertions.

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain.
• Unrestricted, active licensure in North Carolina (or ability to obtain).
• Current unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• CPR and BLS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication with patients, team members, and management.
• Ability to make independent care decisions based on best medical practices.
• Preferred: 1 year full‑time experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
