Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele role in a Special Progressive Care Unit, requiring telemetry experience and night shifts.
Responsibilities- Work in a Special Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) within a hospital setting
- Care for patients requiring med/surg and telemetry services
- Assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts
- This is a 13-week contract position
- Isolation/COVID unit and overflow duties included
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with med/surg and telemetry needs
- Must be able to work in isolation/COVID and overflow units as needed
- Epic charting highly preferred
- No call responsibilities associated with this role
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
