Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring strength in ophthalmology, joint replacement, and urology procedures with Epic experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Position located in the Operating Room of a hospital surgical services department
- Patient population includes individuals undergoing ophthalmology, joint replacement, and urology surgeries
- Ten-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR; previous experience preferred
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Work as part of the surgical services team in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols are expected
- Must complete employer-mandated skills checklist prior to consideration
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- At least one year of RN Operating Room experience recommended
- Experience with ophthalmology, joint replacement, and urology cases preferred
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- Two professional references covering at least one year of employment within the past three years required
