Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a compact or NC RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Patient population includes general emergency cases and COVID patients
- 12-hour AM shifts
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR, with Epic experience preferred
- Provide professional nursing care according to prescribed medical regimens and hospital policies
- Must practice within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act
- COVID patient care is required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility
