Position: Product Demonstrator Part Time - 4946

Base pay range

$13.00/hr – $13.00/hr

Overview

The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a consistent professional appearance. Pay rate is $13.00/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Possess aptitude and ability to gain product knowledge
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers positively
  • Effectively communicate product features and benefits
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job
  • Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution
  • Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives
  • Complete expense reports per company policy
  • Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution
  • Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves discretion to change the role based on business needs.

Additional duties may be assigned as directed by management.

Qualifications

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient personal computer or mobile device use and navigation of applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.

Physical Demands: Stand and walk during shift; use hands and fingers to handle; reach up to 65 inches overhead; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step onto a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a fully laden wheeled demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances;

be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Maintain professional appearance and proper grooming per retailer dress code.

English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
