Your role- Plan and execute compilation, review and audit engagements including preparation of financial statements and applicable tax filings
- Prepare personal income tax returns and related schedules
- Establish and maintain client relationships while developing skills for the attraction of new clients
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns
- Analyze client circumstances and provide useful insight and support for financial decision making or planning, including identifying opportunities for value-added services to clients
- Review of bookkeeping prepared internally for clients
- Manage time, budgets, work in progress and billings
- Collaborate with team members to maintain or improve efficient internal processes
- Engage in continuous professional development, as required for CPA designation as well as to maintain appropriate level of knowledge to perform role
- CPA (or equivalent) designation required
- 2+ years of public practice experience required
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax fundamentals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively to resolve issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to perform more than one task concurrently
- Proficient in computer applications such as Case Ware, Microsoft 365, Profile, QBO, and other relevant software
