Position: Full-Time Payroll Specialist O’Chiese
Join the O’Chiese Business & Investment Centre as a Full-Time Payroll Specialist, handling payroll accurately while ensuring timely employee payments and benefits management.

This role requires you to manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accurate remittances and year-end reporting. You will maintain precise payroll records, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with Human Resources for employee benefits. Attention to detail and strong organization skills are essential for managing confidential information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll and verify time and attendance records

• Maintain accurate records of payroll changes and deductions

• Prepare and submit statutory remittances and reports

• File annual T4 slips and respond to inquiries

• Reconcile payroll records and resolve variances

Requirements:

• Education in payroll, finance, or related field

• Experience in processing payroll and reconciliations

• Knowledge of T4 preparation and benefits administration

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Previous work with Indigenous organizations is an asset
