As Assistant Head Nurse, you will collaborate with interprofessional teams, guiding nursing staff and delivering frontline care when necessary. This vital role includes shaping the clinical environment by promoting adherence to best practices, developing clinical guidelines, and launching evidence-based initiatives. Your deep nursing knowledge will facilitate effective nursing care across various specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise patient care activities and staffing assignments

• Provide mentorship and educational support to nursing staff

• Develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols

• Manage student clinical placements and new staff orientation

• Facilitate quality improvement and compliance audits

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program

• Active practice permit with CRNA

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Desirable post-graduate qualifications in Nursing or Leadership

• Skills in leading projects and managing change
