E&H Hardware Group, LLC Pay Range

Base pay: $15.00/hr – $18.00/hr actual pay will be based on your skills and experience; discuss details with a recruiter.

Signing Bonus

We’re offering a $1,500 signing bonus paid in three installments:

• $500 after 90 days of employment
• $500 after 180 days of employment
• $500 after 270 days of employment

What You’ll Do Repair & Maintenance

• Diagnose and repair a variety of small engine equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and machinery in top condition.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure full functionality and safety.
• Maintain service records and equipment documentation.
• Order and install parts as needed.

Customer Interaction

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and explain repair needs.
• Provide guidance on equipment care and recommend appropriate maintenance.
• Assist with selection of replacement parts and accessories.

Shop Maintenance & Safety

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a secure work environment.

Training & Technical Growth

• Stay current on small engine technologies and new repair methods.
• Attend required manufacturer training and pursue relevant certifications.

What You’ll Bring Skills & Traits

• Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with small engine systems and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and extended standing.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications in small engine repair preferred but not required.
• On‑job training available for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals.

Other Requirements

• Satisfactory background check required.
• Must be willing to travel for training (including overnight stays).
• Completion of Stihl Silver Certification within 12 months of hire.
