• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation.
• Perform oil changes and other basic services.
• Use the company’s multi‑point inspection and/or repair order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, including service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior.
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Transport customers, pickup parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors or corporate office using company vehicle.
• Conduct state safety and emission inspections where applicable.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s core values and all company policies and procedures.

• General understanding of under‑hood, mechanical, and under‑carriage assemblies preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

The role exposes the technician to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Temperature and PPE requirements may vary.

• Stand up to eight hours per day and walk to various areas of the shop.
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly; arm and hand flexibility required.
• Lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel.
• Vision sufficient for color, depth, and re‑focus.
