Requirements Minimum- 2 years of work experience or education in the Fire Alarm field or Fire Alarm design industry or Electrical Engineering.
- Combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- Applicable work experience designing Fire Alarms.
- 1 year applicable work experience and demonstrated skill with AutoCAD.
- 1 year experience creating design documents, working in prototypical design, using families, detailing engineering elements, and using physical drafting tools.
The Fire Alarm Designer will utilize design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects. The Fire Alarm Designer will train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks. An understanding of AutoCAD and/or Revit to design and develop construction documents for our multiple types of projects is preferred.
This position may require minimal travel.
