Early Head Start Teacher
Join our team at Arkansas Early Learning, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non‑profit dedicated to supporting children ages birth to five and their families across Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start programs.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher will utilize the indoor and outdoor environments of the center to create rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child's individual development. Realizing that every word and action matters in early development, the EHS Teacher skillfully and intentionally creates a bond of care and attention, enabling infants and toddlers to learn and develop appropriately.
Education& Experience
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in any field and willingness to obtain an Emphasis on Infant and Toddler Development certificate (1–2 wk training provided)
- Full‑time schedule with weekends off
- 33 paid days off in the first year
- Competitive hourly wage: $19.00–$23.00 per hour
- Paid training and benefits package including health, vision, dental, life insurance, etc.
