Civil Engineer

Job Description

Tech Connect is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager for an industry leading organization that is located in Rogers, AR. Our client needs an experienced Civil Engineer that has a proven track record with site, land and/or municipal infrastructure design projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with current customers, lead office initiatives, manage projects, manage others and provide practical and timely engineering solutions for our clients customers.

As a CEPM you will we responsible for planning, developing, and directing complex engineering projects. You will take direction from the Principal and put projects into action with very little supervision.

To be successful in this role you need excellent oral/written communication skills, a strong understanding of projects and profitability so that you can work effectively with leadership and customers. You must be willing to accept increasing levels of responsibility, and continue technical and leadership training. You need problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities, and drive successful project outcomes.

You will mentor younger engineers and drive office growth.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Master's degree preferred. Minimum 6 years of experience in Civil Engineering or relevant experience. Individuals with 6-10 years of land development, civil design or site civil design experience highly preferred.
• PE license in Arkansas or eligibility for licensure by committee.
• Must be able to work with a variety of customers, understand scheduling, managing project timelines, setting proper internal and customer expectations, budgeting, and meet projected timelines.
• Comfortable with business interaction and business development.
• Strong understanding and knowledge in U.S. and local design codes and standards.
• Must be technically proficient in engineering systems, materials and procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Bluebeam software and HMS modeling software experience is a plus.
• Experience with HEC-RAS.
