registered nurses (rns) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. Rns assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
primary responsibilities- assess patient health, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
- administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders.
- develop, implement, and update patient care plans.
- educate patients and families on health conditions and wellness practices.
- participate in multidisciplinary care teams to plan and implement care strategies.
- maintain accurate patient records and comply with health regulations.
- knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- ability to perform physical assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
- proficiency in administering medications and treatments safely.
- strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- current registered nurse (rn) licensure in arkansas.
