Medical Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join a dynamic healthcare team supporting our ophthalmic surgery center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in readiness for surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Our employees benefit from a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday.

• Full Time
• Located on-site in Rogers, AR
• Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm (4 x 10-hour days)

• Stocking/ Receiving
• Sterilization/ Cleaning medical instruments
• OR Cleaning between cases
• PM terminal clean of the restricted areas
• Transporting patients
• Cleaning between patients in pre/post operative area
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in a medical environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and/or surgical environments are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to handle medical records efficiently while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
