Advanced Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Duties:Proficiently operate imaging tools, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging standards, serve as a lead or expert resource, and assist in training staff. Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams is essential.
Qualifications:Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours, ≥2 years relevant experience, state licensure (if required), and certifications such as ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also needed. In some regions, additional certifications may be required within specified time frames.
PreferredSkills:
Leadership ability, decision‑making, conflict resolution, knowledge of diagnostic and advanced procedures, attention to detail, excellent communication, adaptability, and understanding of quality standards.
Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and kneeling.
