Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Description:
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will participate in the care of perioperative patients.
You will maintain a sterile field and obtain necessary supplies and equipment.
You will uphold patient safety standards and assist the registered nurse in the intraoperative period.
Additionally, you will assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
It is essential to ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared for all procedures.
Monitoring the PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies is required.
You will be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments.
Participation in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities is expected.
Preferred qualifications include certification as a CST and multilingual abilities.
Experience in ophthalmology or eye procedures is advantageous.
