The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Cleaning and Stocking:
    Complete all pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and tools on the assigned work cart, attending morning stand-up, and assisting with dirty linen in the housekeeping laundry room.
  • Clean and Stock Rooms:
    Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift.
  • Additional Cleaning Projects:
    As assigned by direct supervisor, in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, room deep cleaning activities, as needed. All front and back of house areas should be well-organized and clean.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn; ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to work well under pace and pressure; effective listening and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good communication and guest service orientation; willingness to serve all guests.
  • Age 18 or older; varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays based on hotel needs.
  • Clock-in/clock-out reliably; breaks and call-outs handled per supervisor directions.
Physical Working Demands & Working Environment
  • Stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, lifting and carrying items such as linens, trash, or vacuums.
