Mercy Women & Children's offers a comprehensive service line, featuring:

• 12 Labor & Delivery Suites
• 2 Obstetric Operating Suites
• 6 High Risk Perinatal Suites
• 14 Mother/Baby Couplet Care Suites
• A Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 19 private suites
• Special suites for multiples
• A 20-bed Pediatric/GYN/Surgical unit

As a Transition Nursery RN, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to newborns during their critical first two hours of life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending deliveries and performing resuscitation
• Conducting thorough assessments and ensuring the overall well-being of newborns
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring and documenting newborns’ progress and condition
• Preparing women for cesarean sections (CS) and managing recovery for both vaginal and CS deliveries
• Supporting the department by stocking supplies and performing various tasks as needed

• Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Experience: Must have 1 year of Labor & Birth experience
