RN-Cardiac Cath; Non-Exempt

At Mercy, we believe in providing exceptional patient care to all populations (excluding pediatrics). As a vital member of our team, you will:

• Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment.
• Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and inventory management.
• Ensure procedure rooms are fully equipped and ready for action.
• Obtain necessary supplies for individual cases, supporting the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab teams.
• Monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures.
• Engage in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse; BSN preferred but not required.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse or compact state licensure in the applicable state of practice.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in fast-paced cardiac, specials, and electrophysiology settings preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, CPR.

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
