SALES ASSOCIATE (ASHLEY ROGERS/FT) NON‑SAFETY SENSITIVE

Position: Sales Associate (Full‑time)

Pay: $20/hour while in training (2 weeks). After training, $20/hour OR commission, whichever is greater for the first 90 days; thereafter straight commission. Salary has no cap.

Schedule: Open availability.

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed on showroom floor.
• Work directly with internal and external customers.
• Follow up on customer orders and inquiries.
• Assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Ask customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses to better understand their needs.
• Explain product features in a manner customers will understand.
• Recommend and help locate merchandise based on customer needs.
• Prepare sales tickets for orders obtained.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on specifications.
• Describe products and explain their use, operation, and care to customers.
• Stay educated on new products, policies, and store promotions.
• Use excellent customer relations to promote, sell, and present products.
• Follow up with customers by email and phone.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.

Ability to lift merchandise up to 10 lbs; must be able to walk or stand for long periods; must listen and respond to customer needs; communicate effectively with team members; sales experience preferred but not required; positive attitude toward internal and external customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, climb, crawl, walk, pull, lift, talk, hear/listen and perform repetitive motion. Heavy work: lifting up to 40 lbs rarely, and/or up to 10 lbs occasionally to move objects. Work environment: indoor, climate controlled.
