Shadow Valley is an 18-hole private golf club within a 540-acre gated community in Rogers, Arkansas. The course plays throughout rolling terrain enclosed with trees and water features creating challenging microclimates.

The club has a thriving and young membership providing the means for continual improvements to golf course and clubhouse grounds. Shadow Valley Country Club is committed to providing exception playing conditions year-round.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for golf course management. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, ability to prioritize expectations of facilities, a deep understanding of turfgrass management, and the ability to motivate and inspire a large team to achieve excellence.

Putting Greens: L93 Bentgrass

Collars/Surrounds: HGT Bluegrass

Tee Tops: HGT Bluegrass or 419 Bermuda

Fairways/Approaches:
Meyers Zoysia

Primary Rough: 419 Bermuda

Secondary Rough: 419 Bermuda and Tall Fescue/Bluegrass

Irrigation:
Rain Bird 2-wire Stratus II ( Upgrade to Cirrus Pro 2026)

140 Acres of Maintained Turf

Staff: 9 Full Time (Including Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Second Assistant, Mechanic), 3-4 Seasonal

The responsibilities of this position are the following, but not limited to:

• Fertilizer/Pesticide planning and applications
• Golf Course/ POA weekly cultural practices
• Employee management
• Basic equipment repair = sharping reels, setting height of cut, etc.
• Irrigation diagnoses and repair
• Weekly project planning
• Decision making skills
• Eye for details
• Work ethic of being hands on and teamwork
• Leadership abilities
• Construction renovation design and layout
• Preparation for golf tournaments
• Able to lift over 80lbs frequently for length of work day
• Work Sundays and some holidays
