Job Description
The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, dusting countertops, and work area.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in proper locations.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre‑wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
- Clean exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
- High School diploma / GED (preferred).
- Ability to multitask.
- Automotive experience (preferred).
- Clear close vision required.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer Service abilities.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
- Pulling/pushing, carrying.
- Walking 5+ feet.
- Ability to sit and stand (standing 5+ feet).
- Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl 1+ foot.
- Operate a motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.
