Kelli Swart State Farm Agency is seeking a service-oriented Customer Retention Specialist who enjoys helping customers, building strong relationships, and delivering an exceptional service experience.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in solving problems, supporting policyholders, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. While primarily service-focused, the ideal candidate will also be comfortable recognizing additional insurance needs and identifying opportunities where added coverage may benefit the customer.

Active Minnesota Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses are required prior to your start date.

• We'll provide coaching, study resources, and guidance to help you become fully licensed before joining our team.

As a Customer Retention Specialist, you will support existing customers with their ongoing insurance needs while helping strengthen long-term relationships and retention.

You will assist with policy updates, renewals, billing questions, coverage inquiries, and claims-related support while providing a smooth, responsive, and personalized customer experience.

• Provide exceptional service and support to existing customers
• Assist with policy renewals, updates, billing questions, and coverage inquiries
• Support customers with claims-related questions and follow-up
• Review customer accounts and help address policy or coverage needs
• Identify opportunities where customers may benefit from additional protection
• Build strong relationships that support customer retention
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions
• Follow up consistently and professionally
• Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless customer experience

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Comfortable managing multiple customer needs and priorities
• Prior customer service, account management, or insurance experience preferred
• State Farm agency experience is a plus
• Active Minnesota Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses required prior to start date
