Fabrication Operator – Rogers, MN – Compensation: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (paid weekly).
Schedule:
1st Shift | 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Job Type: Temporary/Contract.
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Fabrication Operators for a leading metal fabrication company located in Rogers, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.
What You'll Do as a Fabrication Operator- Generate CNC programs from shop drawings using CAD software and Excel
- Operate fabrication equipment such as panel saws, routers, and LAMs
- Create assembly drawings to support production processes
- Prepare fabrication tickets for metal work operations
- Coordinate production requirements including packaging and shipping instructions
- Review and revise shop drawings based on production changes
- Release complete and accurate production packets to manufacturing
- Communicate instructions and updates clearly to production teams
- Experience in operating fabrication machinery such as routers, panel saws, or similar equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Experience with CAD software and Excel preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with production teams
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy in programming
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to production changes
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow technical instructions
