Maintenance Technician

MBG is searching for a multi-skilled maintenance technician in Maple Plain and Rogers, MN. The position will oversee the overall well‑being of the properties, split time between the two locations, and deliver exceptional service to residents.

• Maintain the properties by walking, inspecting, and reporting issues to supervisors.
• Perform general repairs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and painting.
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete daily work orders, schedule routine maintenance, and keep equipment in good working condition.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist with call‑in rotation.
• Provide snow removal with shovel or blower when required.
• Operate with a valid driver’s license and provide personal tools and reliable vehicle.
• Prepare and submit all necessary forms and reports.
• Maintain a professional image and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Obtain required (EPA Code Section 60.20) and/or pool operator licenses if needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in building trades, maintenance, or general repair work.
• Valid background check and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs, work standing for extended periods, crawl in tight spaces, and handle varied temperature conditions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate the property quickly.
