Immediate opening for a FT Maintenance Mechanic. (some flexibility with set hours and or days of the week possible) Flame offers, to eligible employees; medical, dental, life, disability, paid holidays, vacation, and a matching 401k. The position performs mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all pieces of industrial equipment in the heat treating shop to ensure a smooth work flow. They also assist with installation on new equipment as well as building maintenance.

This position may require the flexibility of working an occasional Saturday as needed.

• Receive maintenance orders and performs maintenance on items as needed.
• Completes applicable paperwork for repair items.
• Communicates with maintenance vendors as needed.
• Completes requests for tools and materials needed.
• Communicates with shop employees and management on status of equipment.
• Works with outside vendors to achieve repairs or revisions to equipment.
• Completes preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Installs new equipment.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Pneumatic & hydraulic system knowledge
• Problem solving
• Ability to stand in place, crawl, stoop and lift on a daily basis
• Ability to read blueprints
• Fabricating and welding skills a plus
• Electrical experience/knowledge a plus

Starting wage range $23-32/hr.
