Position PurposeWarehouse associates maintain the efficient flow of products through the distribution process, ensuring quality standards. As a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, you operate material handling equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc. You transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots, meeting safety, GMP, and quality standards.
Schedule8 AM start time, 4‑day work week (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
Compensation- $20.00/hour training rate.
- After training, average earnings $26‑$27/hour, with top operators earning over $85K/year.
- Locate and set pallets in storage slots using forklift or hand stack items.
- Count check incoming freight and transport to freezer.
- Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items per next day’s work orders.
- Rotate date‑sensitive stock and remove outdated inventory per company policy.
- Disperse over‑stocked items to temporary storage slots.
- Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to proper area or receptacles.
- Inspect empty pallets for damage and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to storage area.
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
- Ensure work area is safe and report unsafe conditions promptly.
- Review work schedule, perform safety checks, and prepare equipment.
- Wear required PPE and safety gear.
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards.
- Work from receiving sheets, computer print‑outs, written or verbal instructions, inspecting items for damage and performing temperature and quality checks.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Maintain battery charging and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
- Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
- Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift; lift, stack, pull products from various heights weighing between 10‑35 pounds, and generally up to ~60‑90 pounds.
- Able to work in multi‑temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
- Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
