Job Title: Shipping & Receiving (S&R) Specialist

Shift: 1st: 8 am 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

As an S&R Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety guidelines. Responsibilities:

• Unload and load materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
• Sort and store received items in designated areas.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items.
• Determine shipping methods and utilize shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Use Fed Ex/UPS systems or LTL websites to set up shipments and track information.
• Complete and file shipping documents and records.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Unload and verify incoming materials from vendors or production.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to the Supervisor.
• Update inventory records in SAP.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes.
• Assist in conducting inventory audits.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 90% of the day.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Hazmat Shipping certification is a plus.
• Basic computer, typing, and SAP experience preferred.
