Job Summary
Medline Industries, LP is a leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices and home‑care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth we need a Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Operator plays an integral role in our success, operating machinery to move materials around the facility for shipping, processing and receiving.
Duties include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking product.
- Catalogue, record, and organise materials received at the warehouse; arrange materials for order assembly
- Fulfil worksheets or tickets for customers by reading production schedules, order forms and requisitions
- Locate and gather products for transfer and distribution to production workers, assembly line, or shipping areas
- Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders
- Operate hand truck, cart, doilies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport items
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English; able to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; basic keypunch skills
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week
- Must have a high sense of urgency
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1–3 months related experience and/or training
$20.25 – $28.25 hourly (actual salary varies by location, education, experience, skills and abilities; minimum wage or threshold will not be below applicable law)
