Job SummaryReporting to the University Registrar, the Transfer Credit, Transcripts and Clearinghouse Professional performs complex professional student services work specific to interpreting, applying and posting transfer credits according to state, system and local regulations. The incumbent serves as a primary campus liaison with the National Student Clearinghouse, submitting reports, correcting errors and ensuring accuracy between the Clearinghouse and NSLDS. The incumbent self‑manages a demanding workload, maintains accuracy, establishes professional advisement relationships with students, oversees the transcript order process and delivery, coordinates assigned programs, develops policy recommendations, and may lead work groups.
KeyQualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from a four‑year college or university in a related field, including upper‑division or graduate coursework in counseling techniques, interviewing and conflict resolution where job‑related.
- Three years of progressively responsible professional student services work experience; one year in the program area may be preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of database, spreadsheet and People Soft preferred.
Full‑time exempt position leading toward permanent status after a probationary period. Starting salary depends on qualifications and experience; maximum $5,540 per month.
