Retail Scan Associate (Rohnert Park, CA 94928)
Position type: Permanent, part‑time. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and aisle locations—including end caps—to provide data used for improving sales performance.

We are hiring part‑time Retail Scan Associates to perform in‑store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Our store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, and we work with major national chains and independent retailers.
Retail Scan Associates use a mobile app to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store. The position estimates 5‑9 hours per week, depending on store size and project requirements. While scanning, you will also provide the quantity for about 45% of the products you scan.
Adhering to weekly deadlines is critical. You will report to your store within the stated deadline and complete display scanning every week, which can take several hours. Custom projects may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work in certain weeks.
Qualifications- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
- Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
- Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
- Tech savvy.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
