Job Description
The HPC Lab in the CS department is seeking a highly motivated and talented MS graduate to join our research group as a Research Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge research in high‑performance computing, FPGA‑acceleration, and big data analytics. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and other graduate students on developing scalable algorithms for large‑scale similarity search and designing innovative storage systems.
Responsibilities- Conduct original research in FPGA‑accelerated computing.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate similarity search algorithms on FPGA devices.
- Prepare manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team.
- Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Strong programming skills in C++.
- Familiarity with parallel computing, cloud platforms, or data analysis frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Prior research experience is preferred but not required.
