Overview
The Department of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) in Rolla, Missouri, is seeking applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor in Computer Science. Priority will be given to candidates in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and algorithms/theory. Strong candidates in other areas can contribute to the department's current strengths, including theory, systems, and applications such as data science, cybersecurity, bioinformatics, cyber-human-physical systems, high-performance computing, pervasive and mobile computing, software engineering, and quantum computing.
The applicants for tenure-track faculty positions are expected to establish and maintain a high-quality research program, publish in top venues, teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise research, and attract external funding to support research activities. A competitive salary commensurate with the rank and qualifications will be offered.
